Matra Sites
Matra is a fully owned subsidary of Lagardère. Lagardère also owns the giant publishing group
Hachette Filipacchi which publishes many automotive magazines and is a co-owner with DaimlerChrysler in EADS, the
european aerospace giant (Airbus, Eurocopter, etc.). Matra has built the Renault Espace under contract for Renault, and is now manufacturing the
Renault Avantime.
